Initial contact & quotation phase

When you contact me, I will send you a set of questions. These will give you the opportunity to clarify and develop your thoughts about the website you require, and your responses will give me the information I need to provide you with a detailed quote, including an estimated timescale.

Initial website design phase

If you accept my quote, I will send you an invoice for a deposit of 25%. Payment of this deposit will secure your contract.

On receipt your deposit, I will produce an initial design, with a proposed colour scheme and layout, for your feedback. You will be able to view this, and watch work-in-progress, on a special non-public website.

We will also discuss keywords and phrases, as part of the search engine optimisation process, as it is more cost-efficient to start to build these into the site right from the start.

The price includes two rounds of prototyping, which is usually sufficient.

Development phase

Once you have approved a design, a further instalment of 25% will be payable. All pages and content will then be added, and the site made functional.

Completion

When the site is completed to your satisfaction, I will send you an invoice for the remaining 50% fee balance. When I receive your payment, I will upload your site’s files to your chosen host, and submit your site to Google. The price includes minor amendments for a month after completion.
